Diane Lyn (Tucker) Emerick

Diane Lyn Emerick, 67, of Linesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.

Born June 22, 1955, Sewickley, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Fitzgerald) Tucker.

Diane was a laboratory technician for 13 years, then returned to nursing school.  She then worked as a nurse at Sewickley Valley Hospital for 10 years and as a hospice nurse with Good Samaritan Hospice for 16 years.  After retiring, she missed her patients so much, she returned to work with Heartland Hospice and then Hospice of Crawford County.

Diane was known for her sense of humor, kindness and compassion.  She loved everyone dearly.  Her most fervent desire is for each one of my family and friends to seek the Lord Jesus, so that we will all be reunited in heaven someday.

Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Charles F. Emerick Jr.; her son, Chuck (Tina) Emerick III; four grandchildren, Haley, C.J., Evan and Jazmen; two sisters, Sue (George) Smedley and Elaine (Joe) Quail; brother, Rich (Merijane) Tucker; sister-in-law, Barbara DeSantis; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at ROYAL-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 6028 U.S. HIGHWAY 6, LINESVILLE, PA 16424.  A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.

Burial will be private in Espyville Cemetery.
