Anthony Trimmer
November 12, 1942 — July 9, 2015
Anthony (Tony) Trimmer, 72, of Conneaut Lake, passed away, Thursday, July 9 at the Marquette Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 12, 1942 in Lambeth, England, he was the son of Arthur Trimmer and Rosina Eliza (Mays) Trimmer. He married Anne Grenier (Trimmer) January 19, 1980, in Beverly, Massachusetts.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He served in the British Army Kenya Regiment with a rank of private.
Tony enjoyed various hobbies, reading, doing puzzles and loved traveling with his wife Anne all over the United States. He was cherished his family and loved spending time with them. Tony will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors; two sons, Richard A. Trimmer and his wife, Laurie, and Lionel M. Trimmer and his wife, Melissa; five step- children, Charles J. Foley Jr., Theresa M. Foley, Pamela A. Hiner and her husband, Jeff, David A. Foley and his wife, Cathy, and Daniel J. Foley and his wife, Laura; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; Tony was preceded in death by his wife Anne and his parents.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will follow the calling at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Father Joe Sedley affiliated with the St. Philip Church in Linesville, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tony’s name to the Marquette Hospice House, 464 Pine St., or the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., both of Meadville, Pa 16335.
