Armour R. Molaskey, 88, of Linesville, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at the Meadville Medical Center.

Born May 13, 1927, in Sharon, he was the son of Frank and Katie Rohlf Molaskey.  He married Sally J. Buckley on July 30, 1981, at the First Methodist Church in Ripley, New York.

Armour served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  He worked as a brick layer.

He was a life member of Kedron Lodge F& AM #389 in West Middlesex and was also member of the Lakeland Valley Senior Center in Linesville.  Armour enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting and kayaking.  He especially enjoyed all Grove City sport activities that his granddaughters where participating in.  He cherished spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Sally J. Molaskey; three children, Norman Molaskey and his wife, Heather, and their four children, Frank, Angela, Nicholas and Lewis of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Susan Molaskey and her son, Jeff, of Hermitage; Judy Hetrick and her daughter’s Suzanne and Katherine of Hermitage; two step-children, David Handy and his son’s Brian and Josh of Grand Prairie, Texas and Paula Hyduchak and her husband, Michael, and their daughter’s Lauren, Corianne and Kyleigh of Grove City; four great-grandchildren; a brother, D. Eugene Molaskey of New Wilmington; a sister, Lois Tampson and her husband, Felix, of Hinckley, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edgar.

The family will receive friends on Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Dave Brumagin, of the Trinity United Methodist Church and the Meadville Medical Center Pastoral Care, officiating.

Burial will be in Southside Cemetery in Shermansville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792, Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, Pa 16335 or the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 1645 West 8 th St., Erie, Pa  16505.
