Austin (Phil) P. Miller

Austin P. (Phil) Miller Jr., 84, formerly of Harmonsburg, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Born August 1, 1933, in Sharon, he was the son of the late Austin Sr. and Dorothy Yarian Miller.
He was a graduate of Linesville High School in 1951.
Austin had worked as a bus driver for Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority and retired in 1993.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He raised and enjoyed Arabi an horses. Austin also enjoyed reading, working with his father in beekeeping and was very interested in family history.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Gyla Miller of Linesville; a niece, Julie Miller Piercy and her husband, Jason, of Midlothian, Texas, and their sons, Austin Lee Piercy of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Robert William Piercy of Fort Benning, Georgia; a nephew, William G. Miller of Boise, Idaho; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William L. Miller.
As per Austin’s wishes there will be no services held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
