Barbara Louise (Mcnew) Burchett

Barbara Louise Burchett, 64, of Espyville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at her residence with her daughters by her side after a 15 month courageous battle with cancer.

Born April 9, 1949 in Shelbyville, Indiana, she was the daughter of James and Audrey Anderson McNew.  She married Kirby O. Burchett on March 17, 1970 in Shelbyville; he preceded her in death on November 20, 1996.

Barbara worked for over 25 years for Andover Industries.  She then worked for RGT Plastics in Linesville for a few years and Moldex in Meadville for five years.

She loved being outdoors and doing yard work.  She enjoyed doing puzzles and going to casinos.  Barbara cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah L. Vale and her husband, Kirk, of Conneaut Lake and Kimberly D. Kissling and her fiancé, Dana Bell, of Meadville; six grandchildren, Derek Vale, Kory Vale, Kassidy Vale, Kaelynn Kissling, Kylann Barksdale and Devantae Bell; and her dog and loving companion, Bella.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James McNew; and a sister, Deborah McNew.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to7 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A funeral service will follow the calling on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Smith of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Espyville Cemetery.
