Betty Mathilda (Graff) Loucks

Betty Mathilda Loucks, 86, of Linesville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 22, 1932, in Conneaut Township, she was the daughter of Walter and Viola Whetsell Graff.  She married Carlyle (Bud) Loucks on January 17, 1990 in Linesville.  He preceded her in death on October 22, 2003.

She was a graduate of Linesville High School.  She worked for 20 years as a nurse’s aide at Meadville Medical Center.

Betty was a member of Palmer United Methodist Church in Conneautville and was a Sunday school teacher.  She loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and baking apple pies that everyone enjoyed.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Diane Heathcote and her husband, Dale, of Greenville and Eileen Alward and her husband, Roy, of Saegertown; five step-sons, Lyle Loucks and his wife, Kathy, of Linesville, Kerry Loucks of Linesville, Leonard Loucks and his wife, Lisa, of Shiloh, North Carolina, Hugh Loucks and his wife, Brenda, of Linesville, and Richard Loucks and his wife, Ann, of Conneaut, Ohio; a step-son-in-law, David Long of Conneautville; 23 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Waring of Linesville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a step-daughter, Peggy Loucks Long Edger Graff; a sister, Dorothy Graff Loucks; two brothers Edger Graff and his wife, Erma, and John Graff and his wife, Dorothy; and her dog that she loved, Little Bit.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.  Additional calling will be Thursday before the service from 10 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Klingler officiating.

Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.
