Bonnie Jean (Wooten) Blanford

June 17, 1944 — February 19, 2024

Bonnie Jean (Wooten) Blanford, 79, of Espyville, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Cortland Healthcare Center in Cortland, Ohio.

Born June 17, 1944, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Stein) Wooten.  She married Ronald L. Blanford on March 28, 1970.  He passed away on December 13, 2014.

She was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School in Indiana.  Bonnie and her husband, Ron, co-owned and operated the Causeway Lounge, Beer Depot and Propane in Andover, Ohio since 1985.

In her spare time, Bonnie loved going to the casinos.  She was involved with the Red Hat Society.  Bonnie cherished her family and loved spoiling her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Shane Blanford and his wife, Amy, of Andover; her grandchildren Katelyn and Emily; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald; and two brothers, Norman Wooten and Lawrence Wooten Jr.

As per Bonnie’s wishes there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
