Carol Ann (Reagle) Turlij

Carol Ann Turlij, 66, of Linesville, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.

Born November 4, 1948, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Homer and Edna Unger Reagle.  She married Robert Turlij on May 27, 1972 in Meadville.

She was a graduate of Townville High School.  Carol was a loving and devoted homemaker and mother.

She was a lifetime member of the Summit Township Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary in Harmonsburg.  Also, she was a member of the Harmonsburg Women’s Club.

Carol enjoyed going on her Wednesday night bus trips to the Presque Isle Downs in Erie.  She also loved playing bingo.  Carol was a Summit township youth girls’ softball coach for many years and touched many of these girls’ lives.  She loved animals and enjoyed caring for them.

Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Robert Turlij; two daughters, Stephanie Turlij of Harmonsburg and Susan Morris and her husband, Ed, of Brookfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Shawn and Keri Udell; a sister, Linda Campbell of Meadville; a brother, Richard Reagle and his wife, Linda, of Meadville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Donna Zellem, Albert Reagle, Ellwood Reagle and Beth Lipps.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Dennis E. Lawton of the Linesville and Harmonsburg United Methodist Churches officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to your local cancer center or animal shelter.
