Chih-Jung Kuo

Chih-Jung Kuo, 61, of Linesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

He was born October 4, 1957 in Taiwan.  He married Merry Chris Smith on July 3, 1989 in Linesville.  She preceded him in death on December 26, 2018.

For many years, he and his wife owned and operated the Chinese Yankee in Linesville.

Chih served in the Taiwan Navy.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening and going to auctions.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Survivors include three children, Steven Kuo, Maryrose Kuo and Stephanie Kuo; and three grandchildren, Carter Kuo, Nyla Barton and Finley Saeger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Monday at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Rachel Johns of the Linesville Presbyterian Church officiating.
