Daniel Praskavich

Daniel Praskavich, 76, of Parma, Ohio, beloved and cherished husband of Winnie for 56 years, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was a loving father of Daniel S. Praskavich and his wife, Jackie, Kim Robinson and her husband, Bob, and Beth Sturgeon; devoted grandfather of Christopher and Anthony Praskavich, Kyle and Alexandra Robinson, and Jacob and Jessica Sturgeon; dear brother to John Praskavich and his wife, Dorothy, and a sister, Doris Guth and her husband, Mel.

Daniel was born May 23, 1939 in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania.  He graduated from Monessen High School.  Daniel retired from the Ohio Crankshaft Company in Cleveland, Ohio.

He and Winnie moved to South Shenango Township in 2001 and returned to Parma, Ohio in 2015.  His greatest joy was his family.  He loved fishing and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Daniel was a friend to many and could fix anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wassil and Katherine Yadlowsky Praskavich, two brothers, Walter and Michael, and four sisters, Anna, Eva, Nellie and Helen.

Daniel was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville.  He belonged to the North Shenango Community Center and was a member of the North Shenango Seniors Group.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the North Shenango Community Center, 2857 State Route 285, or the North Shenango Volunteer Fire Department, 2887 State Route 285, both of Espyville, Pa  16424.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
