David A. Wrataric

David Andrew Wrataric, 50, of Espyville passed away suddenly, on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born May 13, 1965, in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of Gary Wrataric and Mary Lou Reckner.  He married Bobbi Sprague on December 19, 1998.

David attended California Area High School in California, Pennsylvania.  He had held various occupations throughout his life, working mainly with wood products and construction.

David was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania.

Some of his favorite television shows were All in the Family, Sanford and Son, and The Munsters.  As youngsters, David and his brother Dean enjoyed watching the Three Stooges together, laughing till it hurt.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, he and his beloved son Clayton greatly enjoyed year round hunting, trapping and fishing activities.  David's favorite time of year was deer hunting season.

Besides a rich family life, David was dedicated to his woodworking and leathercraft projects.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Bobbi Wrataric; his son, Clayton Wrataric; his mother, Mary Lou Reckner of Brownsville; his father, Gary Wrataric of Warren, Ohio; a sister, Jody Iadanza and her husband, David, of Charleroi, Pa; a brother, Dean Wrataric of Conneaut Lake; and many, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Marion Reckner and an uncle Dale Reckner.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 240 N. 3rd St., Conneaut Lake.

A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jay Sterling officiating.

A meal and time of sharing memories will follow the memorial service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 240 N. 3rd St., Conneaut Lake, Pa 16316.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
