Dawn Martin Rottersmann, 51, of Buda, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Seton Medical Center Hays, Kyle, Texas, after an extended illness.
Dawn was born September 7, 1965, in Meadville, the daughter of Clifford Martin and Connie (Martin) Wilson. Dawn is survived by her mother; a son Stratton Rottersmann, currently attending Fisher University in Boston, Massachusetts; a grandfather, Carl Martin of Linesville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. She is loved and will be missed by so many.
Dawn graduated from Linesville High School and attended Edinboro University majoring in graphic arts. She was a fearless and independent, always had such a beautiful smile and enjoyed times with friends, family, and especially with her son Stratton. She had always been remembered for her painting of a lion on the Linesville gymnasium wall which remained there until Conneaut schools merged. She was fond of animals. She grew up surrounded by horses and her crazy collie, Mac. She loved her Harley that was passed down from her father. She rode it from Buda, Texas to Linesville to attend her 30 th class reunion. She was a member of the Linesville American Legion Post 462 and was Vice President of the Sacred Bones Society MC of Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14 at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville for relatives and friends with Pastor Joshua Harding of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating. There will be no viewing.
Burial will follow in Linesville Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children-Erie, 1645 West 8 th St., Erie, Pa 16505.
