Della Jean (Sparber) Russell
July 30, 1937 — December 29, 2014
Della Jean Russell, 77, of Linesville, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville where she had been a resident for the past five years.
Born July 30, 1937, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Charles Frederick and Della Isabel Walrath Sparber.
She was a 1956 graduate of Linesville High School.
Della was a loving and devoted homemaker. She was a former member of the Linesville First Baptist Church.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting and sewing. Della cherished her grandson, Colin, and loved spending time with him.
Survivors include a son, Steven Russell and his wife, Jennifer, of Linesville; a grandson, Colin Russell; two sisters, Lola and Alice; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ruth and Martha; and six brothers, John, Henry, Charles, Alfred, Freddy and George.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 to 1 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Theresa Robison of the Espyville United Methodist Church and niece of Della officiating.
Burial will be Penn Line Cemetery in Conneaut Township.
