Dennis D. Harkleroad

Dennis Dwight Harkleroad, 72, of Hartstown, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Meadville Medical Center.

Born May 15, 1947, in Johnstown, he was the son of Lloyd and Betty (Schoening) Harkleroad.  He married Beverly Carr on September 28, 1979, in Linesville.

Dennis worked in Tool and Machine Design.  He was a member of the Conneautville American Legion Post 615.  He enjoyed hunting with his brother, browsing on the computer and baseball.  He loved their dog, Jaxon.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Harkleroad; six children, Sean Harkleroad (Dana) of Geneva, Illinois, Kelly Panteloukas of Fresno, Ohio, Erin Pogue of Medina, Ohio, Woodrow Butrick Jr. of Branson, Missouri, Barbara Baumgarten (Mark) of Summerfield, Florida, and Dorothy Butrick of Lakeview, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Marie Plemmons Butrick of Iberia, Missouri; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Allen Butrick; and two brothers, Kevin and Sonny Harkleroad.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
