Donna Mae (Hines) Riordan
August 4, 1961 — May 25, 2015
Donna Mae Riordan, 53, of Linesville, passed away, unexpectedly on Monday, May 25, 2015, at St. Joseph Emergency and Diagnostic Center, in Andover, Ohio.
Born August 4, 1961, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Howard and Helen Slocum Hines. She married Blaze L. Riordan on May 15, 2010, at Sugar Lake Church.
Donna was a graduate of Oil City High School. For many years, she delivered the Meadville Tribune newspaper.
She was a member of the Living Waters Church in Meadville. Donna was also a member with the Fire Police in Hayfield Township.
Donna enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping and being with family and friends around the campfire. In her spare time, she loved doing crafts such as plastic canvas yarns and painting ceramics. She loved her dogs, Jack, Cuddles, Blue, Gray and Pedro. Donna will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband, Blaze L. Riordan of Linesville; four brothers and sisters, Jean Rodgers and her husband, Frank, of Guys Mills, John Hines and his wife, Nancy, of Cochranton, Michael Hines and his wife, Kathy, of Cape Coral, Florida, and Joyce Dehner and her husband, Raymond, of Oil City; two brother-in-laws, Chester Riordan of Meadville and James L. Riordan of Harrisburg; a sister-in-law, Gayle Sutliff of Warren, Pa; her foster parents, Ernest (Buck) and Ella Mae (Toot) Butryn of Oil City; and best friends, Marti and David Simons of Linesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Roy Hines; a sister, Christine Nies; and a sister-in-law, Donna Marie Riordan.
Calling hours will be Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home follow the calling on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ray Martinez of the Living Waters Church in Meadville officiating.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
