Dorothy Elizabeth (Phelps) Bennett

Dorothy Elizabeth (Dottie) Bennett, 84, of Linesville, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville where she had resided for the past two years.
Born June 24, 1929, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Clarence and Matilda (Tillie) Schaefer Phelps. She married Merrick Warren and he preceded her in death in 1987. She later married Harry Bennett on November 10, 1989; he survives.
Dottie was a member of the Linesville United Methodist Church. Dottie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was a loving and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.
Survivors include her husband Harry Bennett; a son, Jeffrey Alan Warren and his wife, Karen, of Appleton, Wisconsin; a grandson, Garrett Warren; a granddaughter, Katie Warren; and his step-grandchildren, Jayson and Allison.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Gary Lee Warren.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis E. Lawton, of the Linesville United Methodist Church officiating.
