Elizabeth A. (Gyder) Fleming

Elizabeth A. (Gyder) Fleming, 92, of Conneaut Lake passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Meadville Medical Center.

Born June 18, 1931, in Franklin, she was the daughter of George and Mary Gyder.  She married William J. Fleming on November 27, 1952.  He preceded her in death in 1992.

Elizabeth was very proud of her homemaking skills.  She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and sewing.  She loved making aprons for her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Terri (Don) Freebourn, Mary (Ronald) James and Barb (Rick) Mattis; five grandchildren, Stephen Freebourn, Nicole Buzzard, Christine Sweeney, Julie Davis and Haley James; seven great-grandchildren; and her canine companion, Sparky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 4 siblings.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support any addiction treatment or recovery organization or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
