Elizabeth (Betty) Mae Garlick, 88, of Linesville passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at The Grove at Greenville.
Born January 19, 1936, in Adamsville, she was the daughter of Howard Phyllis Sr. and Bernice (Snow) McGrath. She married Wayne Garlick on June 8, 1956 in Springboro. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2018.
Betty worked at the former Albro Packing Company in Springboro and then as a cook at the original Driftwood Restaurant in Linesville for over 30 years.
She was a member of the Linesville United Methodist Church.
Betty enjoyed working in her yard and tending a garden each year with her husband Wayne, decorating her home for every holiday, watching game shows, and doing her word searches.
Survivors include two children, Cindy L. Robinson of Linesville and Timothy W. Garlick and his significant other, Elaine Roberts, of Andover, Ohio; five grandchildren, Betsy Owen and her husband, Eric, of Philadelphia, Chuck Robinson of Linesville, Stephanie Garlick of Meadville, Sam Garlick of Pittsburgh, and Tina Smith-Armour and her husband Jim of Meadville; two step-grandsons, Carl Robinson and his wife, Sonya, of New Castle and Michael Robinson and his wife, Monica, of Bedford, Texas; step-granddaughter Lori Stevens of Brookville, Florida; her sister Rosalie Merchant of Linesville; a special niece Peggy Rozalski; and countless other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband of 62 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father Paul McGrath; son-in-law Thomas Robinson; her three brothers Howard Phyllis Jr., Robert McGrath, and Harry McGrath; niece Patty Buttrice; and nephew Randy McGrath.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the incredible staff of The Grove at Greenville, Gentiva Hospice of Meadville, Dr. Rebecca Lashbrook and her staff, Chris Stein, Kevin McGrath, Dan Whalen, Geo Rusnak II, Madeira Paraskos, Becky McGlynn, Tracy Chess, Matt & Christine Barnes, and Jeff Weimer for their care and compassion in Betty's final days and months.
As per Betty’s wishes, cremation was chosen and no services will be held at this time. Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
