George R. Hazen Sr.

George R. Hazen Sr., 71, of Linesville, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at UPMC Horizon in Greenville.
Born February 24, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Harry and Laura Wittenberg Hazen. He married Sharon Burtoft and she preceded him in death on August 13, 1999.
George worked as a truck driver for Silver Star Meats in McKees Rocks. He was an avid fisherman and loved being out on the lake.
Survivors include two sons, George Hazen Jr. of Pittsburgh and Jeff Hazen and his wife, Kathy, of Linesville and three granddaughters whom he cherished, Monica, Rebecca and Nicole Hazen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
