Gloria Jean Davis, 81, of Espyville passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 14, 1938, in Berlin, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Lorin and Alice (Jordan) Stewart.
She worked as a vault keeper at the Skyline Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada for 17 years and retired in 2000.
Gloria was a member of the North Shenango Presbyterian Church. She served as a trustee on the Espyville Cemetery Association Board. She was a long time member of the Willoughby Fraternal Order of Eagles #2300 in Ohio. Gloria also belonged to the Lakeland Senior Center in Linesville. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting and playing cards and games.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura Jean Jones of Espyville and Janet Ramsey of Madison, Ohio; a granddaughter, Kristy Strittmatter (Dustin Crusan) of Espyville; two grandsons, Thomas Ramsey Jr. of Madison, Ohio and Domenic Guido (Cheryl) of Euclid, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Triniti Crusan and Brodie Ramsey; two nephews, Thomas and Branton Stewart; two great-nieces, Samantha and Tamara; two great-nephews, Rory and C.J.; her pet dog, Honey; and her pet cat, K.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Floyd D. Strittmatter; second husband, Charles Davis; a son, David Strittmatter; a brother, Robert Stewart (Beatrice); and a nephew, Bruce Stewart.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the North Shenango Presbyterian Church, 10377 Church Rd., Espyville with Pastor Greg Vanderveen officiating.
Inurnment will be in Espyville Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Gloria’s name to the North Shenango Volunteer Fire Department, 2887 State Hwy 285, Espyville, Pa 16424 or the Conneaut Lake Ambulance Service, 290 S. 4th St., Conneaut Lake, Pa 16316.
Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
