Grace Marie Runyan

     Grace Marie Runyan, 20, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

     She was born December 29, 2004, in Erie, the daughter of Jason and DeAnna (Durfee) Runyan.

     Grace was a 2023 graduate of Commonwealth Charter Academy. She was employed as a home health aide, exemplifying her compassion for the elderly and disabled.

     Grace always had a ready smile and could light up a room. She loved to spend time with her family. She had a huge heart for young children. She loved getting her hair and nails done and had aspirations of becoming a nail tech. Grace had an adventurous spirit and was not afraid to try new things. She enjoyed baking, watching movies, going to Casey’s, swimming, fishing, kayaking, camping with family and friends and adopting stray animals.

     Survivors include her parents, Jason & DeAnna Runyan and her sisters, Madison and Savannah Runyan, all of Meadville, maternal grandparents, Susan and Charles Larson of Meadville, paternal grandmother, Karon Runyan of Saegertown and maternal grandfather, David Durfee, Jr of Meadville. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William Runyan and uncle, David Durfee, III. 

     Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

     A funeral service will follow on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Hough of Watson Run Church officiating.

     Burial will follow in Greendale Cemetery.
