Helen Marie Jordan, 86, of Espyville, passed away, Monday, January 26, 2015, surrounded by her family.

Born November 13, 1928, in Jamestown, she was the daughter of Merle and Vida Carpenter Nottingham.  She married Robert R. Jordan Sr. on August 5, 1961 and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2004.

Helen attended Jamestown High School.  She had worked for Blazon in Jamestown and Avtex Fibers in Meadville.  In 1996, she retired from Molded Fiberglass Tray in Linesville.

She was a member of the North Shenango Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the Lakeland Senior Center in Linesville.  Helen loved and enjoyed baking and cooking for family and friends and was well known for her raisin filled cookies.

S urvivors include five children, Edna Onderko of Linesville, Donald Whiteman and his wife, Carolyn, of Linesville, Lavica Charboneau and her husband, Norman, of Espyville, Robin Tighe and her husband, Daniel, of Linesville, and Robert R. Jordan Jr. and his wife, Danean, of Jamestown; ten grandchildren, Jordan, Scott, Tristess, Douglas, Donald Jr., Lori, Michele, Christina, Anthony and April; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Arlene McClimans and her husband, Gail, of Jamestown; a cousin, Jane Eppinger; a special friend, Nancy; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, James Whiteman; a son-in-law, Adolph Onderko; two granddaughters, Michelle and Cheryl; and a great-grandson, Michael.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Theresa Robison of the Espyville United Methodist Church officiating.

Private burial will be in Maplegrove Cemetery in Andover.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the North Shenango Volunteer Fire Department, 2887 State Hwy 285, Espyville, PA  16424.
