Jacob (Jake) M. Lisbon

Jacob M. (Jake) Lisbon, 68, of Linesville, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018, surrounded by his family, at his residence after a brief illness.

Born June 26, 1949, in Smithdale, he was the son of the late McClellan and Christina McGinnis Lisbon.  He married Cynthia Cochenour on August 24, 1972, in Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania.

Jake worked for Summit Township and was a supervisor for Conneaut Township.  He was a member of the Conneaut Lake Sportsmen’s Association.

Jake enjoyed being a camp host at Pymatuning State Park where he spent his spare time enjoying fishing and boating.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Cynthia Lisbon; a daughter, Vicki Beregi and her husband, Joseph, of New Stanton; a son Jacob (Jay) Cochenour and his wife, Rachel, of Conneautville; grandchildren, Derek Hustek and his wife, Katelyn, Katelyn Rendina and her husband, Mario, Jeff Hustek and his fiancé, Rowan, Kandice Beregi and her fiancé, Zach Gains, and Zack, Alicia, Nikki, Jonathan, Tirzah and Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Brynlee, Karter and Aria; two sisters, Mary Lisbon and Elizabeth Baker; a brother, George McIntyre and his wife, Marge; a brother-in-law, Isaac (Butch) Cochenour; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many great friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Bobby Jo Heider; a brother, Louis McIntyre; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Isaac and Mary Cochenour;

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 981 State Route 31, Tarrs, Pennsylvania with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating.  Additional calling hours will be Monday at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service.

Burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
