James M. (Jimmy Too) Huffman, 61, of Linesville, went to be with his wife, Boo, on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at his residence with his family at his side after a valiant five month battle with cancer.
Born October 2, 1956, in Meadville, he was the son of George and Betty Balint Huffman. He married Brenda L. Godsave on July 19, 1985 in Meadville; she preceded him in death on December 17, 2010.
He was a 1974 graduate of Linesville-Conneaut-Summit High School. For over 30 years, he was employed by T. Bruce Campbell Construction Company in West Middlesex as a foreman and fabricator.
He was a member of the Linesville American Legion Post 462 and the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club in Linesville.
Jim was an avid bowler and had bowled a perfect 300. He loved fishing and going “upta” camp with Pat, Buzzy, Tommy and Mike where they would play horseshoes and cards. Jim also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Mountaineer in West Virginia. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include four sisters, Annette Beagle and her husband, John, of Linesville, Nancy Guest of Brunswick, Maine, Carol Lee Huffman-Osborn and her husband, Rich, of Conneaut Lake and Lisa Stachnik and her husband, Mike, of Linesville; three brothers, Rich Huffman of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Larry Huffman and his wife, Kathy, of Ashtabula, Ohio and Pat Huffman and his wife, Darlene, of Linesville; his mother-in-law, Betty J. Godsave of Conneautville; a sister-in-law, Linda Crider and her husband, Paul, of Linesville, two brother-in-law’s, Scott Godsave and his companion, Deb Kelso, of Linesville and George Godsave and his wife, Tomma, of Linesville; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and a brother, Jerry Wayne Huffman.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Brenda Loucks of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Yolanda Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd. or to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St., both of Meadville, Pa 16335.
