James W. Kiskadden

James W. Kiskadden, 73, formerly of Hartstown, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.

B orn September 16, 1950, in Greenville, he was the son of William and Mary (Slezak) Kiskadden.  He married Marti Jo Dennis on June 30, 1973 at the Hartstown Presbyterian Church.

Jim was a 1968 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School.  He worked as an engineer for Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.  Jim loved his dogs and being outdoors hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Marti Jo Kiskadden; a daughter, Billie-Jo (Donald) Hyde; two sons, Andrew (Candice) Kiskadden and Shawn (Tomisa) Kiskadden; six grandchildren, David Hyde, John Hyde, Ava, Eric, Kian and Renna Kiskadden; a brother, Harry (Sara) Kiskadden; and seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Smith officiating.  Additional calling will be on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial will be private in Hartstown Cemetery.
