John Jeffery Watson

     John Jeffery Watson, 46, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from health issues. 

      Born March 27, 1978, in Meadville, he was the son of Donald and Donna (Gower) Watson.

      He was a graduate of Linesville High School in 1998.  For over 25 years, John was proud to be employed by Channellock in Meadville. He served as a steward in the union there. 

      He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. John was very social and was a member of several local clubs. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

     Survivors include his mother, Donna Gower of Linesville; sister, Joni Watson and her fiancé, Jack Fink, of Erie; brother, James Watson and his wife, Lindsay, of Meadville; four nieces and nephews, Justin Fink, Daylee Watson, Jagger Watson and Rylee Harlow; his fiancée, Lei Maitom; and many aunts and uncles. 

     He was preceded in death by his father, Don Watson. 

     Calling hours will be on Thursday, February 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

     Additional calling hours will be Friday, February 14 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Terry Smith of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating. 

     Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery. 

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
