Joseph L. Warren, 93, of Linesville, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2016, at his residence.
Born August 16, 1922, in Pennline, Conneaut Township, he was the son of Clifford and Aline Rick Warren. He married Pauline E. Porter on June 27, 1952 in Conneautville.
He served our country in the United States Army’s 84th Infantry Division.
In 1945, Joseph started Warren Brothers Inc. and he retired from there in 2008. They provided transportation for the Conneaut School District for over 35 years. He enjoyed working with his father, brother and family in the business.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Joseph was a 50 year member of Pine Masonic Lodge 498 in Linesville. He was also a member of the Zem Zem Shriners Motor Patrol.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Pauline E. Warren; two daughters, Pamela Jean Weidner and her husband, Ronald, of Conneautville and Tracy Lynn Thomas and her husband, Mark, of Linesville; a son, Darin K. Warren and his spouse, Dwayne Blose, of Linesville; two grandchildren, Jennifer Trott and her husband, Christopher, of Erie, and Jonathan Weidner of Conneautville; a brother, Harry Warren and his wife, Lori Jean, of Bushnell, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Ray Warren; a sister, Elizabeth Gardner; and a brother, Merrick Warren.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will follow the calling at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Loren Little officiating.
Burial will be private in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Meadville.
