Joseph Anthony Werkin Jr.

Joseph Anthony Werkin Jr., 83, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Espyville, passed away on January 9, 2025. 

Born July 3, 1941 in Steubenville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Jean (Falkowski) Werkin. 

He served our country in the United States Marines. 

Joe was a member of the Andover Fraternal Order of Eagles 4035 and the Linesville American Legion Post 462. 

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. 

Survivors include his wife, Alice Duffy Werkin; a daughter, Christina Werkin; stepdaughters, Angela (Gary) Heukeshoven and Jackie (Jordan) Zoomick; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

As per Joe’s wishes no services will be held.
