Kathryn (Bishoff) Petrus

Kathryn Petrus of Conneautville, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 2, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born June 25, 1943 in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Mona Bishoff.

She was a graduate of New Wilmington High School.  Kathy is survived by her husband, Steve Petrus of fifty-two years.  They made their home in Conneautville, Pa.   Also survived by two brothers, Frank (Shirleen) Bishoff, Duane Bishoff and two sisters, Mary Thompson and Debbie Bishoff.  Survived by her grandchildren, Stacey, Michael, Michelin, Mason, Madison, Tanis and Killon; also many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and cousins.   Other survivors would be her pet, Mocha May that helped Kathy be here with us all.

She was preceded in death by her three children, Dana Moore, Tammy Moore Bullock and Daniel Ray Moore; brothers, Clayton, George, Bill, Buck, David and Dick Bishoff; and sisters, Geneva Schneider and Colleen Cobb Bishoff.

She is joyfully reunited with her children and many relatives.  We will cherish all the time spent with Kathy and our memories together.

Kathy leaves behind a profound void in the hearts of her grieving family.

Life shouldn’t be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly shouting…

Per Kathy’s wishes there will be no services.
