Kenneth David Brubaker, 55, of Linesville, passed away, Sunday, November 11,2012.
Born August 3, 1954 0 Meadville, he wcc the son of James Henry and Florence Ann Urgent Brubaker. He married Kathy Van Dusen on February 19,1982 at the Linesville United Methodist Church.
He was a 1972 graduate of Linesville High School and the Crawford County Vocational Technical School.
Ken started working in the construction business. He also worked at Albro Pickle Factory in Springboro. For nine years he had worked for Crawford County 911.
He was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the International Wheelchair Aviators. He was a life member of the Linesville Volunteer Fire Department.
For many years, he was the bingo caller for the Linesville Fire Department and the Knights of Columbus. Ken loved flying planes, riding his bicycle and was a railroad enthusiast.
Ken Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Kathy Brubaker: his mother, Florence Ann Brubaker of Linesville: two sisters, Pam Hazelhurst and her husband, Gary, of Meadville and Kay M. Brubaker of Linesville; a brother, James T. Brubaker of Linesville; a sister-in-law, Pam Brubaker of Linesville: three brother-in-laws, David Ford of Conneautville, Paul Van Dusen and his wife, Bonnie, of Linesville and Steve Van Dusen of California: and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
He was preceeded in death by his father, James Henry Brubaker, a brother, Joseph Clyde Brubaker and a nephew, Shane Travis Ford.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon until 3 p.m at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville. A memorial graveside service will follow at Linesville Cemetery with Brenda Loucks, officiating.
