Lewis Raymond Andrews Sr., 87, formerly of Espyville, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.
Born October 15, 1936, in Erie, he was the son of Clifford and Helen (Lammers) Andrews.
He attended Academy High School in Erie. Lewis served our country in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a truck driver for Gejon Inc. and Millis Transfer.
He was a member of St. Philip Church in Linesville. Lewis enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his dogs.
Survivors include five children, Christine Andrews of San Antonio, Texas, Mark Andrews (Brenda) of San Antonio, Texas, Cathleen Lore of Conneautville, Timothy Andrews of Kendallville, Indiana and Lewis Raymond Andrews Jr. (Cindy) of Linesville; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his ex-wife, Gloria Luper of Conneautville; and his special nurse who cared for him at Rolling Fields and granddaughter, Ariel VanDusen and her husband, Shane Burchfield, who also worked at Rolling Fields and was his fishing buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, significant other, Margaret Brace and a brother, Herman Andrews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 3 at St. Philip Church, 401 St. Mercer St., Linesville with Father Chris Hamlett as celebrant.
Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Philip Cemetery.
