Lily Marie (Calladine) Bish

Lily Marie Bish, 69, of Linesville, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Meadville Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Born December 11, 1946, in Coal Center, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Frederick and Nora Salsberry Calladine.  She married Walter Henry Bish on September 16, 1966; he preceded her in death on January 10, 2006.

She was a 1964 graduate of Linesville High School.  For 25 years, Lily worked for Twin Creeks Transportation for the Head Start Program.

She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed listening to Pastor Art Barnes on the radio.

Lily was a lifetime member and had held several offices for the Linesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7842 Ladies Auxiliary.

She cherished spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren.  Lily loved listening to her granddaughters sing to her.

Survivors include, three daughters, Marie L. Proctor and her husband, Clinton, of Meadville, Leslie Ann Clark of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Stacey Lynn Swicker and her significant other, Greg Pelzer, of Donora, Pa; a grandson, Aaron Hays of Meadville; two granddaughters, Tiffany and Hannah Swicker of Donora; a step-grandson, Clinton Proctor Jr. of Meadville; a brother, Fred Calladine Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Clayton, New York; two sisters, Mary Patricia Gehman and her husband, Jim, of Linesville and Ida Stewart and her husband, William, of Conneautville; and numerous, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Cecil Calladine.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Art Barnes officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
