Lisa Marie Sherretts, 54, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at her residence.
She was born March 5, 1966 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, at the Quonset Point Naval Hospital to Michael and Marilyn (Corey) Buzzard. Lisa married Douglas Allan Sherretts on April 13, 1985, at the First Baptist Church in Linesville. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2017.
She was a graduate of Linesville High School in 1984. For 20 years, she worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, 10 of which were spent working on the Hostage Negotiation Team.
Lisa was of the Christian faith. She loved camping and spending time with family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren. Lisa enjoyed entertaining people at her residence and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her fiancé, Jason Scarberry; her father, Michael Buzzard and his wife, Sally; a son, Matthew Sherretts; a daughter, Nicole Sherretts; two granddaughters, Rozalyn Faye Harper-Sherretts and Lennaye Elisa Harper-Sherretts; two sisters, Lori Buzzard and Deanna Buzzard and her fiancé, Fred Gilliland; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Laura Sherretts; a sister-in-law, Patricia Davis and her husband, Kelly; a brother-in-law, Guy Sherretts and his wife, Kay; a step-brother-in-law, Tyrone Johnson; a step-sister-in-law, Sandi Wise and her husband, Mike; a step-brother-in-law, John Hancock and his wife, Holly; a step-brother-in-law, Brian Hancock and his wife, Cathe; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Sherretts; her mother, Marilyn Buzzard; and a son, Austin James Sherretts.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 and on Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville. Additional calling will be on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Hiles of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Linesville Cemetery.
