LuAnna M. Hart, 89, of Conneautville passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at the Meadville Medical Center.
Born May 3, 1925, in Adrian, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Sheridan and Rose Tarr Giles. She married Walter E. Hart on September 26, 1944. He preceded her in death on November 9, 1987.
LuAnna was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Conneautville where she helped in the nursery and with Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed playing the piano and played at various church celebrations throughout the years.
For 26 years, she worked as an inspector for Talon Corporation in Meadville and retired in 1987.
She enjoyed watching the news and reading the Meadville Tribune every day. LuAnna also liked doing crossword puzzles and crypt-a-quote. She enjoyed watching baseball on television and her favorite team was the Atlanta Braves and she knew all who played on the team.
Family was very important to LuAnna and her favorite times where when they would all get together for food, fun and to celebrate the holidays. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include four daughters, Donna Seiler and her husband, Dale, of Buena Vista, Tennessee, Patricia Bernat and her husband, Peter, of Linesville, Becky Jane Pavlik and her husband, David, of Meadville and Carol Ann Kane and her husband, Richard Jr., of Saegertown; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert T. Giles and his wife, Rosemary, of Linesville; a sister, Sara R. Corey and her husband, Ed Shatto, of Linesville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Dale E. Hart and Douglas W. Hart; four brothers, Russell S. Giles, Arthur G. Giles, LaRue M. Giles and Robert D. Giles; and an infant daughter.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Calvary Baptist Church, 17880 Conneautville Road, Conneautville, with Pastor Jonathan D. Wagner officiating. Additional calling hours will be Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Penn Line Cemetery in Conneaut Township.
