Margaret A. (Murray) Lebhaft

Margaret A. Lebhaft, 98, of Espyville, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community in Conneautville.

Born March 4, 1926, in Newburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dallis and Margaret (Beal) Murray.  She married James Calladine on July 27, 1944 and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1969.  She later married Michael Lebhaft Jr. on June 7, 1972 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2003.

Peggy worked as a district manager for Avon for over 10 years.  She was a member of the Linesville First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and going to Beverly Hills, Florida during the winter.  Most of all Peggy cherished spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Hamilton and her husband, John, of Meadville; a son, James Calladine and his wife, Patty, of Brandon, Florida; step-children, Michael C. Lebhaft III, Sylvia Sanderson and Cathy Dormer; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special grandson, who talked to her often, Matt Wells; a sister, Shirley Ann Kubicar; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her step-children, Sandra Gordon and Carol Al-Ajroush; her granddaughter, Mary Alice Corliss; siblings, Minnie Gray, Marilyn Zirkle, Ruth Davison, Sylvia Seydor, and Earl, Robert, William and Sam Murray.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.

A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Burial will be private in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Meadville.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the exceptional care she received at Rolling Fields.
