Marilyn June (Powers) Knabe

Marilyn June Knabe, 87, of Warren, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Concord Care Center in Fowler, Ohio.
Born June 14, 1937, in Cleveland, she was the daughter of George and Mildred (Stupica) Powers.

June was a graduate of Linesville High School.  She was a loving and devoted homemaker and also worked as a personal home health caregiver.

She was a collector of all things.  June was very artistic, enjoyed painting, coloring and crocheting.  In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling.

June loved helping people and cherished spending time with family.

Survivors include five children; Darlene Eversole, Bob Greenawalt (Lauri), Ginger Smith, Linda Greenawalt, and Sherry Ford (Paul); ten grandchildren; Erin Rabich (Jesse), Shawn Greenawalt (Teresa), Steve Stewart, Ryan Greenawalt, Chris Stewart (Amanda), Dusti Castiglione (Josh), Erika Walker, Rachel Coder, Braden Greenawalt (Alli), and Megan Ford; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister-in-law Jean Powers; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two ex-husbands; George (Del) Greenawalt and Harry Knabe; a grandson, Joshua; four sisters; Milly, Kathleen, Darlene, and Nancy; and two brothers, George and Tommy.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.  A time of sharing memories of June with the family will follow at 1 p.m.
