Marlene K. Tempel

January 3, 1952 — February 17, 2020

Marlene K. Tempel, 68, of Espyville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 17, 2020, at Meadville Medical Center.

Born January 3, 1952, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Linus and Gertrude (Watson) Tempel.

She was a graduate of Parma High School.

Marlene was a member of the Linesville Presbyterian Church.  She also was a member of the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club in Linesville, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, and the Meadville Clown Club.

She enjoyed fishing and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her sisters, Dorinda Jarrell and her husband, Ken, of Leesville, Louisiana, DoRetta Cline and her husband, Dave, of Antwerp, Ohio; a brother, Kevin Tempel of Huntertown, Indiana; a longtime friend, Mary Ann Baus and her children and grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and lots of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dave Tempel and a sister, Beverly Rex.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club, 3642 W. Erie St. Ext., Linesville with Rev. Rachel Johns officiating.  The family will receive friends after the memorial service until 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Linesville Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 235 or the Pymatuning Sportsman Club for Youth Projects, 3642 W. Erie St. Ext., both of Linesville, PA  16424.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
