Mary Ann Baus, 80, of Espyville, passed away after a two year courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at her residence.
Born October 18, 1942, in Tower Hill, Fayette County, she was the daughter of John and Anne (Rihaly) Semonik.
She was a 1960 graduate of Redstone High School in Brownsville.
Mary Ann worked for TRW in Cleveland.
She was a member of the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club in Linesville and was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her longtime partner, Cynthia Wightman; three children, Leasa K. Baus Francis (Scott) of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, Christopher J. Baus (Jeanette Kenney-Baus) of Roaming Shores, Ohio and J. John Baus (Jill Coyne-Baus) of Concord, Ohio; three grandchildren, Logan, Quinlyn and Teagan Baus; cousin, Ronald “Spanky” Rihaly (Mary Jo) of Penncraft; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Dorothy Rickel and brother, John Semonik.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18 from 1 until 4 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
