Mildred M. (Campbell) Mitchell

Mildred M. Mitchell, age 95, of Penn St., Linesville passed away Thursday evening on August 11, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born May 24, 1921 in Crawford County the daughter of Fenn and Manie (Gilliland) Campbell.  She married Cloyd L. Fink on June 13, 1941 and he preceded her in death on September 26, 1973.  She then married Francis P. Mitchell on January 2, 1982 and he also preceded her in death on May 29, 2002.

She was a shipping clerk at Molded Fiber Glass in Linesville for 27 years. She was a member of Linesville United Methodist Church and a life member of the Linesville VFW Post #7842 women’s auxiliary. She enjoyed baking, gardening, and spending time with her family. The family would like to give a special thanks to Southern Care hospice for all of the care they provided over the last two years.

Survivors include two daughters, Frances Michaels and her husband Charles of Linesville and Sherry Fry and her husband Richard of Linesville, five grandchildren, David Michaels, Tracey Shultz and her husband Mike, Kristen Michaels, Julie Grello and her husband Mark, and Jeff Fry, she is also survived by five great grandchildren, Christopher Shultz, Jonathan Shultz, Audrey Grello, Lauren Grello, and Christian Fry.

In addition to her two husbands she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Edith Rudler and Marion Roth, two brothers, Wilbur Campbell and Maurice Campbell.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from noon to 2:00 PM at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.  The funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis E. Lawton pastor of Linesville United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 1245 Park Ave. Meadville, PA 16335.
