Mildred (Millie) I. Prouty

Mildred I. (Millie) Prouty, of Linesville passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Rolling Fields Eldercare in Conneautville.

She was the daughter of Clarence and Frances (Russell) Michaels.  She married Ira Earl Prouty on July 18, 1949 in Jeffersonville, Indiana; he preceded her in death in 1994.

She was a loving and devoted homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing. Millie was a lifelong member of the Linesville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include four children, David Alan Prouty of Florida, Marie Ballard of Dorset, Ohio, Russell Prouty and his wife, Cindy, of Linesville and Jill Prouty of Cambridge Springs; two grandchildren, Heather Beers and her husband, John, and Adam Prouty and his wife, Marissa; six great-grandchildren, Caleb, John, Jacob, Isaac, Elaina and Clara Mae; a sister-in-law, Frances Michaels; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Kyle Willis;  and two brothers, Charles and Ed Michaels.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11 until noon at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.  A funeral service will follow at noon on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
