Norma Jean Mackin, 76, of South Side in Pittsburgh, passed away on August 31, 2024, at Embassy Village in Meadville.
Born November 11, 1947, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Norman and Jean (LaVelle) Mackin.
Norma had worked in home cleaning for many years.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed doing a football poll for her friends. Norma was involved in the Active Aging and helping at the voter polls. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Missy Ridenour and her husband, Dan, of Jamestown; a son, Mark Brown and his wife, Holly, of Stow, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kelly Laird and her husband, Dan, of Springboro, Robert Ridenour and his wife, Brittany, of Linesville and Brittany Brown of Stow, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Mackenzie and Colton; a brother, Denny Mackin and his wife, Rose, of South Side in Pittsburgh and Wade Mackin of Carrick; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pittsburgh.
