Raymond E. Dygert, 62, a resident of the Meadville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for over seven years, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the Meadville Medical Center.
Born May 27, 1950, in Conneaut Lake, he was the son of Raymond and Josephine Shreve Dygert.
Raymond was a member of the Linesville Pilgrim Holiness Church. He had attended special education classes in Meadville on Ray Street.
In his younger years, he enjoyed drawing and painting. He loved playing bingo at the home. Raymond enjoyed listening to music and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include a sister, Edna Dygert of Andover, Ohio; two brothers, Dale Dygert of Meadville and David Dygert and his wife, Josephine, of Linesville; two nieces, Kathy Dickson and her husband, Eric, and Jennifer Mercier; a nephew, Daniel Dygert; a faithful cousin, Kathy Brown and her husband, Bill, of Cochranton; and also many other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Josephine Dygert.
Calling hours will be Friday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville. A funeral service will follow the calling hours on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Isaac Clark of the Linesville Pilgrim Holiness Church officiating.
Private burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
