Richard B. MacLees, 63, of Linesville, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, after a courageous battle with Angiosarcoma, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Born December 7, 1954, in Lander, Pennsylvania, he was the son of William and Edna Coulter MacLees. He married Colette Morgan on December 7, 2001 at the Cochranton United Methodist Church.
He was a 1972 graduate of Eisenhower High School. In 1999, he received a Bachelor’s of Science from Gannon University.
Richard was employed by Foamex in Corry for 36 years.
He was the founder of Northwest PA Hauntings (a ghost hunting group.) He loved and cherished his grandchildren and they were his whole life.
Survivors include his wife, Colette MacLees; his mother, Edna MacLees; four children, Rebekah Legare, Stephanie Elder, Natalie MacLees and Bethany MacLees; 10 grandchildren, Toby, Lakotah, Mahayla, London and Phoenix Legare and Willow Higgins (all who he lived with) and Sophia Morgan, Josephine McHugh, Evan Harris and Ben Elder; four siblings, John MacLees and his wife, Chris, Robert MacLees and his wife, Lucy, Anne Peppel, and David MacLees and his wife, Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
