Richard (Chief) Seger

Richard (Chief) M. Seger, 77, of Linesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, after a brief illness.

Born January 14, 1942, in New Rochelle, New York, he was the son of Kenneth and Irene (Crawford) Seger.

He retired from the United States Navy after 34 years.  He enjoyed just being outdoors any chance he would get.

Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Yvonne Paradise-Seger; five children; two step-children; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.

A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
