Ronald G. Grapatin

Ronald G. Grapatin, 79, of Espyville, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.

Born January 19, 1940, in Geneva, Ohio, he was the son of Arthur and Matilda Grapatin.  He married Dianne Mook on July 15, 1961 in Conneautville.

Ron served our country in the United States Navy and retired in February of 1976 after 20 years.  He then worked for AA Construction of Franklin, Trumbull Supply in Meadville for 8 years, and later drove for Community Health in Meadville for a few years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Dianne Grapatin; two daughters, Susan E. Paolo and her husband, Dominic, of Roaming Shores, Ohio and Linda K. Grapatin of Leesburg, Florida; three grandchildren, Sasha, Nic and Spencer; and a sister, Ruth Wallace of Meadville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arthur and Walter Grapatin; and three sisters, Laverne, Shirley and Florence (Peggy) Hoogstad.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
