Rose Louise Mcquiston

February 19, 1941 — September 14, 2021

Rose Louise McQuiston, 80, a resident of Wesbury Care Cottage and formerly of Harmonsburg, passed away at the Meadville Medical Center on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

She was born February 19, 1941, in Atlantic, a daughter of Marian Morian.

She was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School in 1958.  Rose worked as an aide in the Summit grade school in Harmonsburg for many years.

Rose was an avid card player and enjoyed going to the senior center in Meadville with all the ladies.  She enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, football, baseball and science fiction movies.  Also in her spare time, Rose enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word searches.

Survivors include a son, Tim McQuiston and his wife, Brenda, of Linesville; a daughter, Diane Litwiler of Conneaut Lake; five grandchildren, Michael McQuiston and his wife, Lori, Katie King and her husband, Brandon, Trevor Litwiler and his wife, Shelly, Amber Jacobs and her husband, Matt, and Challen Culbertson and her husband, Zack; five great-grandchildren, Paige, Hailey, Landon, Mason and Noah; a sister, Mary Lee and her husband, Jim, of Jamestown, New York; three brothers, Ken Morian and his wife, Melanie, of Conneaut Lake, Paul Morian of Conneaut Lake and David Morian of Atlantic; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marian Morian and a son, Mark McQuiston.

Per Rose’s request a private memorial service will be held.  Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.
