Rosemarie F. Ray, 75, of Linesville, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 12, 1940, in Farrell, she was the daughter of Joseph and Maria Sansone Patrizi. She married Donald L. Ray on November 10, 1962, in Farrell.
She was a 1958 graduate of Farrell High School. Rosemarie and Donald owned and operated the Linesville Golden Dawn from 1968 until retiring in 2003.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and going on casino trips with her dear friends Darcy, Pat and Mary Kate. She loved her dog Mimzi.
Rosemarie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Donald L. Ray; five children, Debra Ray of Meadville, David Ray and his wife, Melissa, of Linesville, Christy Alphin and her husband, Fred, of Cary, North Carolina, Michelle Ray Groover and her husband, Michael, of Meadville, and Kathryn Ray of Lakewood, Ohio; five grandchildren, Madison, Price and Caroline Alphin and Ethan and Zhanna Ray; three siblings, Joseph Patrizi and his wife, Frances of Niles, Ohio, Theresa Hockemeier and her husband, Melvin, of Vincennes, Indiana, and Robert Patrizi and his wife, Mary Ann, of Grosse Ile, Michigan; a brother-in-law, Charles Bukovinsky of Farrell; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Patrizi of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Michael; a sister, Lucille Bukovinsky; and a brother, Nick Patrizi.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Crawford County, to St. Paul’s staff and to Lisa Bailey and the great staff at Home Instead of Meadville for their loving care they provided for Rosemarie.
C alling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville, with Joe Sedley as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Greenville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine St., Meadville, Pa 16335 or your local Leukemia or Lymphoma Society.
