Sally Joan (Buckley) Molaskey

Sally Joan Molaskey, 82, of Linesville, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Meadville Medical Center.

Born April 22, 1940, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Charles Martin and Elizabeth Margaret (Campbell) Buckley.

She married Armour Molaskey on July 30, 1981, at the First Methodist Church in Ripley, New York.  He preceded her in death on July 30, 2015.

Sally was a 1958 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School.  For 10 years, she worked as a secretary for the state of Pennsylvania.  She then worked as a caregiver for 35 years.

She enjoyed painting, bingo, watching Jeopardy, puzzles, card games and antiquing.  Sally loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending their events.  She enjoyed traveling and also hosting fish fries with friends and family.  Sally loved picnics and boating on Pymatuning with her husband, Armour.

Survivors include a son, David (Sheree) Handy; a daughter, Paula (Michael) Hyduchak; grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Hull and their children, Kate and Hudson, Josh Handy, Lauren (Mark) Hyduchak-Ryan, Corianne Hyduchak and Kyleigh Hyduchak; sister, Kaye Buckley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Armour R. Molaskey; and brother, Bill Buckley.

Per her wishes, a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 at Southside Cemetery in Shermansville.  Following the service a meal and sharing of memories be held at Sally’s home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA  16335.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.
