Shirley Anne Krachkowski, 78, of Linesville, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, St. Paul’s Senior Living Community in Greenville.
Born January 23, 1944, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Gail and Margaret (Birtciel) Corey. She married Pete A. Krachkowski on September 21, 1963, at St. Philip Church in Linesville. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2014.
She was a 1961 graduate of Linesville-Conneaut-Summit High School. She worked part-time waitressing and was a bus driver for Warren Brothers for a few years.
Shirley was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church and served on the Parish Council. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She helped work bingo and funeral dinners for many years at the church. Shirley enjoyed doing word searches and tending to her flowers and garden.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Krachkowski (Angela) of Cochranton and Timothy Krachkowski (Kristine Germain) of South Glens Falls, New York; three grandchildren, Erika Krachkowski (Fiancé, Evan Kozlowski), Megan Jasko (Kyle) and Jarod Krachkowski; three brothers, David Corey (Barbara) of Catawba, North Carolina, Dennis Corey of Harmony and Danny Corey (Patricia) of Grove City; a brother-in-law, Ronald McIntyre of Mooresville, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Willene McIntyre.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at St. Philip Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville. A rosary service will be held at 10:15 a.m. prior to the visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with Father Chris Hamlett as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Philip Cemetery.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Shirley’s best friend since childhood, Elaine Kennedy for all her help and support during this very trying time. Also would like to thank the great staff at St. Paul’s for their caring and compassion to their “sweetie”!
