Theresa E. (Chess) Pisarchick

Theresa E. Pisarchick, 86, of Conneautville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Embassy of Park Avenue in Meadville.

Born September 19, 1937, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Raymond and Agnes (Hogue) Chess.

She married Curtis P. Pisarchick on May 2, 1959.   He preceded her in death on November 30, 2021.

Theresa was a graduate of  Conneautville High School.  She also was a graduate of Crawford Vo-Tech as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  For many years, she worked as a LPN at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.

She was a member of St. Philip Church.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and going out boating.  Theresa loved watching movies with her husband, gardening, canning and cooking for her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Helene Coontz and her husband, Bob, of Centennial, Colorado; a son, Joe Pisarchick of Conneautville; two grandsons, Daniel Coontz and his wife, Christina Hayes and Tyler Pisarchick; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Arizona, Kansas, Lucas and Valynne; a sister, Mary Huber of Meadville; a sister-in-law, Sally Pisarchick of Cleveland, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis Pisarchick; a son, Paul Pisarchick; and three sisters, Dolores, Martha and Alice.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville with Father Chris Hamlett as celebrant.

Burial will be private in St. Philip Cemetery.
